Weekly Review
Good morning, I hope everyone had a good weekend. We have been busy on a few home improvement projects. Even though it is only February it looks like it is time to start mowing the yard and my roses are starting to come out. I am not ready for yard work just yet.
We had a good week last week, for lessons last week we did something we have done in a long time. A subject a day lessons, it is a great way to break up homeschool without taking a break for school. Kiddo likes the difference and makes school go faster it seems.
Today we are studying all things Presidents for Presidents Day and tomorrow will get back to a regular schedule.
Just a reminder if you if have not signed up yet for Six Flags reading program it is not too late. You get free tickets for child reading 6 hours and homeschoolers are eligible.
Here is the link to sign up.
Have a great week.

Happy Heart Day!
One in every 100 babies born in the U.S each year will be diagnosed with congenital heart defect, and up to 30% of those will be considered critical congenital heart defects, meaning those that will result in death without surgical correction within the first year of life. During this week of CHD awarness we do what we can to raise awareness for the detection and treatment of CHDs. Early detection is key in order to save the lives of children affected by a CHD.
Kiddo is our heart warrior. He was born with Tetralogy of Fallot and had open heart surgery at 6 months. He will most likely need another surgery in the future.

Weekly(x2) Review
Sickness took over the house for a couple of weeks and we are finally getting over it. DH and I got sick first having both parents sick at once is against house rules, but we made it then Kiddo got sick. School the past two weeks has been a lot of reading, drawing, watching Mythbusters, How’s That Made and some math as we could get to it. It was a kind of unschooling while everyone was sick and on medication.
We got back on a schedule and full school day this week. It took all day long to get done be we made good progress. Hopefully we will stay healthy and keep on schedule. I hoping to make a library trip this week, more chemistry experiments and to start researching new curriculum for next year.
I hope you have a great week and stay healthy.
